WEEKEND HOUSE SHOW RESULTS
01/08 WWE Raw house show results from Boston, Mass.:
U.S. champion The Miz beat Kofi Kingston to retain the U.S. Title. The Miz talked about Kofi Kingston asking Timbaland for a U.S. title shot on Raw a few weeks ago and he's still the champion. He said Kofi got another shot tonight and started taunting Kofi's mother, who was seated in the crowd. The Miz retained after hitting the Skullcrushing Finale. Great match, great energy from the crowd.

01/09 WWE Raw house show results from Lincoln, Nebraska:
The Miz beat Kofi Kingston to retain the U.S. title. Miz did mic work, complaining about flying from Boston to Omaha, then driving to Lincoln in freezing cold weather. He mentioned the Raw match with Kofi from two weeks ago. A good match. Miz rolled out of the ring before the Trouble in Paradise, but got hit by a dive. In the end, Kofi missed a dive into the corner and got hung up on the buckles. Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the pin.

01/10 WWE Raw house show results from Rochester, Minn.:
The Miz beat Kofi Kingston to retain the U.S. Championship. Standard Miz promo before the match. Pretty good match. Between these two and maybe Swagger and MVP, WWE could really get a good U.S. Championship division going much like they did back in the day when the Intercontinental Title was actually coveted.

SUPERSTARS HONOR BRET HART AFTER RAW
After RAW went off the air, Bret Hart's music played as members of the RAW roster came to the ring to cheer for The Hitman. Bret was lifted on their shoulders and paraded around the ring.

RAW 4TH JANUARY 2010

After Maryse wins her First Round Divas Title Tournament match, The Miz comes out to a new theme song. He says if Maryse wins this tournament, he just might call her back. He says something in French to her. He says every moment from now on belongs to him because he's awesome. Miz heads to ringside for commentary.

Fatal Four Way for the United States Title #1 Contendership: MVP vs. Jack Swagger vs. Carlito vs. Mark Henry
The Miz takes a seat for commentary as MVP comes out to the ring first. Out next is Jack Swagger. We go to commercial break. Back from the break and the match is underway with Carlito and Mark Henry out. Everyone is going at it. Swagger drops Carlito in the ring after MVP for a 2 count. Swagger goes to work on MVP and hits a belly to belly for another 2 count. Henry has been laid out on the floor.

Henry and MVP end up going at it. Henry dumps MVP over the top to the floor. Henry starts going back and forth between Carlito and Swagger. He slams Carlito's feet into Swagger and goes to slam Carlito. Henry goes with a bearhug on Carlito instead. Swagger breaks the hold and works over Henry. Henry puts Swagger on his shoulders with the Torture Rack. MVP breaks that hold and kicks Henry to the floor. MVP nails the Playmaker on Swagger for the pinfall and the win.
Winner and New #1 Contender: MVP

    RECENT HOUSE SHOW RESULTS
    12/29 WWE Raw house show results from Manchester, New Hampshire:
    Third match - MVP vs. The Miz for the United States Championship. Winner: The Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale. MVP grabbed the mic and told the crowd that Timbaland was a friend of his and he managed to get The Miz for the title last night. The Miz was supposedly to have the night off.

    12/30 WWE Supershow results from Syracuse, NY:
    The Miz defeated Jack Swagger and MVP in a Triple Threat match for the U.S. Title. Miz had a huge amount of heat and picked up the win.
