RAW 31ST MAY 2010 The Miz walks in and says Ashton Kutcher wanted to see him because he's the biggest WWE star. Ashton says he spoke with Bret Hart earlier and they made a match for Miz. Kutcher says they got a one-night contract for Daniel Bryan. Ashton asks Miz if he's scared. Miz says he's going to beat Bryan to a bloody pulp tonight. Kutcher says that's going to be hard to do when Bryan makes him tap out. Ashton and Miz have words. Ashton tells him to get ready for his match because he doesn't want to feel the Farm Hand. The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan We go to the ring where The Miz makes his way out for the next match against his NXT Rookie. The NXT theme music hits as Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring. Cole has already began his trash talking. We go to a replay of Bryan's attack on Cole & Miz last week during NXT. Both men are pissed as the bell rings and they go at it. Bryan drops Miz first with punches and mounts him. Bryan locks on an armbar but Miz gets the ropes. Bryan misses a splash in the corner and Miz clotheslines him. Miz works over Bryan now with a series of rights to the jaw and a kick to the head. 2 count by Miz. Miz works Bryan over in the corner now until the referee pulls him off. Miz goes to the top and lands on Bryan. Miz slaps and taunts Bryan. Bryan rolls him up in a crossface-like move. Miz turns it into a 2 count and Bryan counters that for the pinfall and the win out of nowhere. Winner: Daniel Bryan After the match, Miz attacks Bryan and throws him over the ropes and to the floor. Miz comes out to the floor and continues the attack. Miz holds Bryan up and tells him to apologize to Cole. Bryan slams Miz's face into the announcers table and throws Miz over the table into Cole. NXT 25TH MAY 2010 Matt Striker introduced each WWE Pro and they took their seat on the stage. Chris Jericho, The Miz, Matt Hardy, William Regal, Christian, C.M. Punk, and R-Truth. Striker said due to the events that took place at Over the Limit, Punk would not be joining us tonight. Daniel Bryan was shown backstage and Michael Cole will call him out after the break. Cole said he ripped Bryan because he did not deserve to be here. Bryan said he had the worst pro in The Miz. He said he was the best wrestler in the back. Cole agreed but said he did not belong. He said Bryan was a loser. He said Bryan tapped out of the competition because he was a loser. Cole tried to slap Bryan and Bryan tried to go after Cole, but he was held back by the security guys and Cole high tailed it. Bryan broke free and beat on Cole on the floor. He was pulled away and up the ramp. Bryan then walked up the ramp and was met by Miz, who said he didn't deserve to be there in the first place. Bryan then attacked Miz and was pulled off by four or five security guys. Bryan was removed from the scene as Miz and Cole screamed at him. Heath Slater was eliminated. Miz said he felt Slater was voted off because he never showed the wow factor. He said sometimes he was on and sometimes he was off and you could never be off. RAW 24TH MAY 2010 It's announced that The Miz will battle R-Truth tonight to determine the new WWE United States Champion since Bret Hart is now the General Manager. We see R-Truth and The Miz headed to the ring for the US Title match as we go back to commercial. WWE United States Title Match: R-Truth vs. The Miz Back from the break and here comes R-Truth for the next match, to crown a new WWE United States Champion. The Miz comes out next and has a mic. He says he's walking out of here with the belt tonight because he's The Miz, and he's awesome. The match starts and Miz strikes first and takes it to the corner. They go back and forth and we take a commercial break. Back from the break and Miz has been working Truth over on the floor. He brings it back in the ring for a 2 count. Miz continues to control the match and gets another 2 count. Miz drops a knee in Truth's back and works on the arm. Truth fights back now with right hands. Miz kicks him down with a boot to the shoulder. Miz wraps Truth up in the corner and works him over. Miz gets distracted and Truth knocks him to the mat. 2 count by Truth. Truth runs into an elbow in the corner but catches Miz and drops him on his face. Truth hits a dropkick from the top for another 2 count. More back and forth here. Miz gets a close 2 count. Miz hits an inverted DDT into his knee but Truth counters and rolls him up for a 2 count. Truth goes for the scissors kick but Miz blocks it. Truth hits the Lie Detector for the pinfall, the win and the title. OVER THE LIMIT 23RD MAY 2010 We go backstage with Chris Jericho and Big Show. Jericho says he isn't looking for a fight. He thanks Big Show. Jericho says Big Show was the dead weight of his tag teams with Jericho and The Miz. Jericho says he is going to capture the belts tonight with Miz. Jericho rips Bret Hart and says he would make a good team with Big Show. The Miz walks up behind Show. Show can't see him but he knows he's there. Show talks about knocking them both out and walks off. WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: Chris Jericho & The Miz vs. The Hart Dynasty Out first for the next match are the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty with Natalya. Out next are the challengers, Chris Jericho and The Miz. It's going to be Miz starting things out with Tyson Kidd. Miz doesn't allow the lock up as he stomps away at Kidd instead before burying his knee in Kidd's back. Kidd hits a snap mare and follows it up with a couple of ridiculous stiff kicks before tagging in Smith, and helping him get Miz up for a huge stalling suplex. After about 20 seconds, Smith drops him and he tries for the cover but Miz kicks out. Smith kicks Miz to the outside, and Jericho joins him when Smith back body drops him to the outside. Smith picks Kidd up in a gorilla press and slams him to the outside on top of Jericho and Miz. Back in the ring Kidd locks in a front chancery, but Miz backs him into his own corner and tags in Jericho who comes in and immediately puts Kidd down. Kidd is able to flip out of a back body drop and a combo of kicks puts Kericho down. Double team action from the Dynasty is good for a near fall on Jericho. Jericho is able to send Smith to the outside, and he distracts the referee to allow Miz to get in a cheap shot on Smith on the outside. Smith rolls back into the ring where he's greeted by a belly to back suplex from Jericho. Jericho locks in a rear chin lock, but Smith is able to fight back up to his feet. Jericho charges Smith, but Smith counters with a side slam. Both men go for their partners, but Miz is the only one able to make the tag. Miz brings Smith back to his side of the ring where he goes to work with big right and lefts to Smith's face, before hitting a running kick. Miz covers Smith, but only gets two. Miz locks in a rear chin lock, and Smith gets him onto his back. Smith stands right up and takes Miz down with an electric chair drop. Both men make the tag, and Kidd hits a flying elbow, and a beautiful dropkick, before following it up with a series of kicks. Kidd hits a baseball slide to send Miz off the spron before hitting a crazy roll up. Kidd tries for the hurricarana, but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho. Kidd is able to drag himself into the ropes and force Jericho to break the hold. He rolls out to the apron, where he hits a big kicks to Jericho's face. Kidd comes back in with a springboard splash, but Jericho counters right into the codebreaker. Jericho is able to crawl into a cover, but Kidd kicks out at two. While Jericho argues with the ref, Kidd uses the opportunity to kick Jericho in the head and tag out to Smith. Smith comes in as a house of fire and takes it to both Miz and Jericho, launching Jericho with a belly to belly suplex before hitting a great powerslam. Smith gets a near fall, then tries for a running powerslam. Jericho sends Smith into the ropes and gets a beautiful small package, but Smith kicks out at two. Jericho goes into the ropes where he ends up being tripped by Natalya. Smith catches Jericho with a big powerslam, but Jericho kicks out at two. Miz makes the blind tag and comes in from behind, hitting a neckbreaker/backbreaker combo that's good for a near fall. Miz goes for the sharpshooter on Smith, but Smith turns it into a small package for two. Miz tries for the SCF, but Smith fights out of it, leading to a series of roll ups. Miz hits his clothesline in the corner, but Smith just walks out into the middle of the ring with him. Kidd makes the tag, and comes in for the Hart attack. Kidd pins Miz, and this one is over. NXT 18TH MAY 2010 Striker brought out the WWE pros to the stage as opposed to the rookies. Six pros made their way out. Carlito and R-Truth were missing from the group. The pros sat in chairs on the stage. Striker asked them what they are looking for from the rookies. Miz said he was looking for the it factor. He wanted someone that would intrigue someone in the ring. William Regal said he was looking for adaptability. C.M. Punk did not care to answer the question. Christian agreed with The Miz and wanted someone who had the it factor. Regal told Christian he hasn't seen 'it' from him in ten years. Matt Hardy said he wanted someone that can make it in the locker room as well. Chris Jericho wanted someone that will make him pay money to see them. Only one rookie has done that for him thus far. Striker stood in the ring with Daniel Bryan and Michael Tarver. Bryan went off about the politics in WWE and how Vince McMahon likes big guys. He said WWE likes their own guys and not those who made a name for themselves outside of the company. Danielson pointed out a few pros and then said he is better than The Miz. Miz went crazy and asked Danielson what he has done besides eliminating himself. Danielson told Miz to come down to the ring and prove it. Striker started to speak and Danielson said the one thing he does not miss about NXT is Striker interrupting him. The rookies took their spots at ringside facing the ramp. The pros remained seated at the top of the stage. Striker reminded us what the winner of the show earns and then put up the new list. Wade Barrett was number one again and David Otunga was number two again. Heath Slater leapfrogged into the third spot. Justing Gabriel earned the number four slot and Darren Young was eliminated. Striker gave the mic to Darren Young and instructed him to tell the Pro's Poll what he thought. He walked up the ramp and thanked the fans. Young walked by each pro and said he had respect for each of them. He said he was not going to holler and cry. He thanked the pros. RAW 17TH MAY 2010 We see The Miz and Chris Jericho talking backstage. Miz walks off, headed to the ring. Josh Matthews walks up but Miz takes the microphone from him and keeps walking. Miz talks about beating Bret tonight and mocks Canadians. Miz walks out into the arena and says he is going to eradicate the Hart name. Miz says in just a few minutes, Bret will be laying in the ring, screaming in pain. Miz says he is going to make Bret tap out with the Sharpshooter. Miz says he's awesome. No DQ, No Count Out Match for the WWE US Title: The Miz vs. Bret Hart Miz stays in the ring as we get the ring introductions. Out comes the challenger, Bret Hart, wearing jean shorts and a Hitmen hockey jersey. Bret puts his sunglasses on a boy's head before entering the ring. The bell rings and Miz goes to the floor after Bret comes towards him. Miz takes the mic and says he forgot to mention that he paid some guys to take out the Hart Dynasty when they plan on showing up. Out comes Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal. They stop at the end of the ramp. The Hart Dynasty comes from out of the crowd and start brawling with Regal & Kozlov. The two teams fight up the ramp. Chris Jericho comes running from the crowd now. He and Miz hop in the ring and corner Bret. Jericho takes off his suit jacket. Natalya enters the ring and stands side-by-side with Bret. Natalya says she's not going anywhere and smacks Jericho. Miz grabs Natalya but Bret goes to hit him. Jericho drops Bret with a right hand. David Hart Smith comes in and attacks Jericho from behind, sending him to the floor. Smith turns around to a big right hand from Miz. Miz kicks Bret and goes for the Sharpshooter. Tyson comes up and hits a big dropkick off the ropes onto Miz, breaking the hold. The Hart Dynasty hits the Hart Attack on Miz and exit the ring. Bret locks the Sharpshooter on Miz and he taps out. Bret wins the match and the US Title.
