NXT 13TH APRIL 2010

Backstage, Miz chastised Bryan for his horrible performance earlier in the show. He called him the "Susan Boyle" of WWE. He pleaded with Bryan to go out there and "be a star." Bryan looked motivated.

William Regal (with Skip Sheffield) defeated Daniel Bryan (with The Miz)
The announcers mentioned that Regal trained Bryan. Bryan hit a full nelson suplex for a two count. Regal countered a guillotine with a suplex. He hit the running knee for the win.

After the match, Miz knocked Regal from the ring with a left forearm. He then helped Bryan up and hit the Skull Crushing Finale. He left yelling back at Bryan and Bryan had a bloody mouth from Regal's knee.

    AWESOME MIZ STEALS THE SHOW
Here's a sentence most wrestling fans never thought they would see: Last night in London, The Miz was the most entertaining act on WWE Raw.

And not just any episode of Raw — but one that featured both the WWE's world champions, both No1 contenders and the legends that are The Hoff and The Hitman.

When Mike Mizanin first entered Tough Enough in 2004, he came off as the US equivalent of Jeff Brazier — a serial reality TV wannabe desperate for a shot of fame.

But in the six years since he was runner-up to Daniel Puder, Miz has improved every single week to the point he is now one of the main reasons to tune in each Monday night.

And his rise is living proof that people who are lifelong wrestling fans often make the best wrestlers.

This week's Raw was his greatest moment yet, thanks to a segment with Bret Hart in which Miz came off as the bigger star.

He has the great heel quality so often missing since the days of Ravishing Rick Rude and Mr Perfect, of really believing he is the best — even claiming with a straight face that he and Big Show are the greatest tag team of all time.

Hart came out to a huge ovation to say, actually, the Hart Foundation and British Bulldogs were just two superior teams from the past — before getting hit with a couple of zingers.

Miz told him: "I guess David Hasselhoff isn't the only 90s icon who is completely delusional.

"If we were in your era I'd put a Sharpshooter on you faster than you can put a pair of cheap sunglasses on an ugly kid."

To top off a great night, Miz then defeated Dave Boy's son DH Smith in a good bout, so that next week Hart has to admit that ShowMiz are indeed the best duo in WWE history.

    RAW 12TH APRIL 2010

Big Show and Miz are walking in the back as we go to commercial.

The Miz and Big Show come to the ring. Show says that he has something to say before Miz’ big announcement. Show says that he was skeptical at first about whether they would work well as a team. After Wrestlemania and last week, they can be special as a team. Miz says that he cannot believe that a man so big has a small ego. Miz says that it is safe to say that the Shiz is the greatest tag team in WWE history. Miz cannot believe that people booed that comment. Miz wants to know who is better than them. Miz says that nobody in the crowd has any credibility.

Miz is interrupted by Bret Hart’s music and he comes to the ring. Bret says that they call themselves the greatest tag team of all time, but he can name two teams way better than the Shiz. First, the Hart Foundation, voted the greatest tag team of all time in the WWE. Bret also mentions the British Bulldogs. Those were teams that were great for years, not a few months.

Miz says that Hasselhoff isn’t the only 90s icon who is delusional. Miz says that if we were in his era, he would put Bret in a Sharpshooter faster than Bret could put a pair of sunglasses on a fat kid at ringside. Miz says that he likes the British Bulldogs, but he would have no trouble slapping the British Bulldogs in their little British faces. Show suggests that Bret leave, but Bret says that there is a tag team that he knows that can beat the Shiz.

The Hart Dynasty comes to the ring. Miz says that they are not champions so they can’t go from show to show like the champions. Bret reminds everyone that he wrestled David’s father in one of the greatest matches of all time. Miz wonders how that affects them. David says that his father is watching this match tonight and that is why he is making a challenge. He challenges the Miz to a match tonight. Smith says that if they win, they get a Unified Tag Title Match at Extreme Rules. Show and Miz think about it and Miz says that Show thinks it is a mistake while Miz says that he likes the opportunity. Miz says that he wants to add a condition, that when he wins, Bret Hart will declare on Raw next week that the Shiz is the greatest tag team of all time. The Harts huddle up and they agree.

The Miz with Big Show versus David Hart Smith with Tyson Kidd and Natalya

Miz with forearms to the head and then he puts Smith in a rear chin lock. Smith gets Miz on his shoulders and he runs Miz into the turnbuckles. Smith sends Miz across the ring and then he punches Miz but Miz with a kick and punches. Smith with a clothesline and running shoulder tackle and another clothesline. Smith with a power slam for a near fall. We get a near fall from an inside cradle by the Miz but Smith with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Smith misses a charge into the corner and then Miz with the running clothesline into the corner. Miz goes back up top but Smith with a big boot and Miz is down. Smith sets for the Sharpshooter. Show gets to the apron and Smith releases the hold and Smith drop kicks Show. Kidd comes off the apron and Show punches Kidd. Show pushes Kidd into the ring and the referee looks at Kidd and then Show punches Smith and Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.

    Winner: The Miz

4/11 WWE House Show - Liverpool, England:
Unified WWE Tag Team Championship match - The Miz & Big Show Vs Mark Henry & Kofi Kingston.
The Miz delivered a promo before the match began, again putting over Manchester United FC. He described Liverpool as a city of sporting losers, which was funny considering I was sat next to two of the city's sporting stars! Mark Henry and Kofi both received loud pops, Kofi especially. Big Show and Henry played up comedy roles throughout the match, battling to see who could stretch their leg to the top rope etc. As expected, Miz and Big Show went over to retain.

WWE HOUSE SHOW RESULTS & DIGITALS - NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND

4/8 WWE House Show - Newcastle, England:
U.S. champion The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston ended in a non-finish.

The Miz got about a 60/40 mixed reaction of mainly boos from the crowd. As always, Miz did a great promo on Newcastle picking up local news stories and adding them in. He also added some comments on an earlier signing he had done, which were humorous to us who knew the area we were in. Anyways, Kofi got a fair reaction, but not as good as last time he was here in November during his big push. Kofi was in control, thus Big Show came out to get Miz DQ'ed. At this point, Mark Henry came down the ramp at about 1,000 miles an hour. He can really move when he wants to, and this led to a tag title match.

Unified tag champions Showmiz (Big Show & The Miz) beat Kofi Kingston & Mark Henry to retain the Unified tag titles.
This turned into a boring match with little crowd reaction except for the Kofi hot tag to Henry. Show hit Kingston with the chokeslam for the pin.
